Alias Robotics has been selected to advance to the Mission Track of NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA). NATO DIANA announced the full 15-company Mission Track cohort on 2 September 2026. Alias Robotics is also one of two Spanish companies included in the group.
NATO DIANA announced the first five Mission Track innovators on 29 May, with Alias Robotics among the ten additional companies now completing the 15-company 2026 Mission Track cohort.
The 15 Mission Track innovators were selected from NATO DIANA's 2026 cohort of 150 companies, itself chosen through a challenge call that received more than 3,600 proposals. Alias Robotics entered the programme under the Autonomy & Unmanned Systems challenge. NATO DIANA officially describes the company's project as “Embedded AI driven cyberdefence capabilities.”
From the Accelerator Programme to Mission Track
Mission Track is a follow-on phase of the NATO DIANA Accelerator Programme intended to help selected technologies move closer to operational use.
According to NATO DIANA's Mission Track announcement, companies advancing receive €300,000 in non-dilutive funding, continued access to NATO test centres, and tailored support designed to accelerate adoption. NATO DIANA describes the programme as a step towards turning innovative technologies into operational capabilities for the Alliance.
For Alias Robotics, the selection extends the work started after its admission to the NATO DIANA 2026 Challenge Programme in December 2025, advancing the use of Cybersecurity Superintelligence (CSI) to deliver AI-driven cyberdefence for unmanned systems and the operational environments that support them.
Selection for Mission Track does not constitute NATO procurement, certification or deployment of Alias Robotics technology. Rather, the programme provides an adoption-focused pathway for selected innovators to continue progressing towards operational readiness and use.

AI-driven cyberdefence at operational speed
Unmanned systems operate in environments where threats and operational conditions can evolve rapidly. Periodic security reviews and human-only response cycles may struggle to match the pace of automated threats, increasing the importance of defensive capabilities that can operate continuously.
For Mission Track, Alias Robotics will use CSI as the foundation for AI-driven cyberdefence supporting unmanned systems. CSI is Alias Robotics' complete Cybersecurity AI suite, bringing together LLMs, scaffolds, datasets, agents, steering and benchmarking in an integrated stack that can be deployed end-to-end on customer-controlled infrastructure.
Rather than limiting cyberdefence to the platform itself, CSI can operate across the wider systems, networks and endpoints that support unmanned capabilities and their missions.
Alias Robotics' current Cybersecurity AI stack is designed to move security from manual processes towards automated operation at machine speed.
Current Alias Defender agents include capabilities that continuously monitor logs, networks and endpoints, while the company's Dynamic Cyber Ranges research on AI-driven attackers and defenders evaluates defender agents that harden infrastructure, monitor for intrusions and respond in real time. Together, this work provides a research basis for applying continuous, AI-driven defence through CSI across unmanned systems and the wider operational environments that support them. Alias Robotics' agent architectures also retain human-guided modes alongside automated agents, preserving a role for operator oversight where required.
